Brand Collaboration Pitch Templates for Creators

A useful pitch connects a specific brand to an idea you can deliver. These examples are editable starting points, not messages that have already been sent or claims about campaign results. Replace every bracketed field and keep only statements you can support.

Before you send a pitch

Check that the business suits your content and identify its published collaboration or marketing contact. Pick one relevant example of your work. If you have no past brand clients, use an independently made sample and label it accurately.

  • Explain why this product fits your audience or creative skills.
  • Offer one clear concept, with a sensible scope.
  • Link to work the recipient can view without requesting file access.
  • Use your own metrics only, with their reporting period.
  • Finish with one easy question rather than several competing requests.

Email template: propose a paid collaboration

If you mention past performance, add a dated metric you can substantiate. Do not invent an engagement rate, a client relationship or a promise of sales.

Template — personalise before sending

Subject: [Content idea] for [brand] — collaboration proposal Hi [name/team], I’m [name], a [niche] creator making [format] in [language]. I noticed [specific product or campaign detail] and would like to propose [concrete idea] for [audience/use case]. A relevant example of my work: [link and short explanation]. My proposed starting scope is [deliverables]. Are you considering paid creator collaborations for [dates]? I can send a brief and quote once we confirm the intended usage and timeline. Thanks, [name / public handle / business contact]

Instagram DM template: find the right contact

Keep the first DM short. If the brand publishes a preferred submission form or email address, use that channel. A follow or a like is not an agreement to collaborate.

Template — personalise before sending

Hi [brand], I’m [name] and I create [specific content]. I have an idea for [product]: [short concept]. Who is the best person to contact about paid creator collaborations? Here is an example of my work: [link].

Follow-up template: add context without pressure

Give the recipient time to respond. One relevant follow-up can clarify the proposal; repeated generic messages are unlikely to improve it. Respect a request not to contact them again.

Template — personalise before sending

Hi [name], following up on my [date] idea for [product/campaign]. Here is [a relevant sample or one useful clarification]. If this is outside your current plans, no problem. Would a short scope be useful?

When a brand says it is interested

Move from the introduction to a clear brief. Ask what the content should achieve and who will approve it. Confirm whether the request is paid, gifted or another arrangement before committing to deliverables.

  • What product, audience and campaign objective should the content address?
  • Which formats and how many deliverables are required?
  • Will you publish on your account, deliver files, or both?
  • What are the deadline, budget and payment milestones?
  • What revisions, content usage and exclusivity are being requested?

Make your profile support the pitch

Your pitch and public profile should tell the same story. Show your niche, languages and representative formats clearly. A brand opening your link should be able to understand your work before asking for private portfolio access.

Use Voohh as a public introduction to your work and keep your profile accurate as it develops. Creating an account is a discovery step, not a commitment from a brand to offer work.
